Abstract

1309106 Ventilators AMERICAN METAL CLIMAX Inc 10 Sept 1970 43385/70 Addition to 1269080 Heading F4V A ventilator comprises a frame having panels 220, 224 which define openings 222, 226 respectively, an insect screen 228 which extends across a passage formed between the openings, and simultaneously operable closure members 234, 252 for opening and closing the openings. In the form shown, the closure members are both pivoted flaps. The frame consists of two portions 202, 210 joined by a plastics strip 212. In another embodiment, the lower closure member 234 is vertically slidable in grooves in frame side members 206 to open and close the opening 222.
