Abstract

1307760 Serving shelves LICENTIA PATENT-VEKWALTUNGS GmbH 7 Sept 1970 [13 Sept 1969] 42696/70 Heading B8H A shelf conveyer comprises a mast 14 provided with a base (12) running on wheels (11), Fig. 1 (not shown). A lifting table 22 is displaceable vertically along the mast 14 and horizontally into a selected shelf compartment such as 36, 38. A mechanical positioning device 32 is mounted on parallel levers 28, 30 on the mast 14 and is set with respect to the selected shelf compartment by a roller 40 on the device 32 co-operating with a guide rail 42 fixed to the shelves at the selected level. The table 22 is provided with identification mark readers 34 and the result is that any vertical misplacement of the shelf selected, e.g. by subsidence, is automatically compensated.
