1307387 - Cleaning agents in the form of unitary bodies RAION YUSHI KK 18 Feb 1970 [18 Feb 1969(2)] 7820/70 Heading C5D A cleansing agent in the form of a unitary body having a shell-like structure comprises a plurality of shells each of which is made of detergent and/or detergent additive, the space defined by the shells being filled with a filler, which consists of detergent and/or detergent additive, at least one of said shells and said filler containing therein detergent, and said filler being completely surrounded by said shells. A core containing a detergent composition consisting of sodium silicate, sodium alkyl benzene sulphonate, sodium tripolyphosphate, soda ash and perfume may be surrounded by a coating of an amphoteric surfactant, which in turn is surrounded by a coating of a whitening agent (Fig. 5). The agent may be in the form of a sphere, a cube or a cylinder (Figs. 1 to 3, not shown). Alternatively, it may be in the form of a capsule-type shell structure made from two hollow semi-spherical shells. In Fig. 8, the walls of the shells 101 and 102 contain gas bubbles and the unitary body is formed by heat-sealing the flanges 101a and 102a of the shells. In Fig. 9, the unitary body is formed by fitting shell 111 over shell 112. In each case, the capsule is filled with detergent and/or detergent additives 4.
