1307200 Quilted material SEIDNERS Ltd 19 April 1971 27033/72 Divided out of 1306359 Heading B5N A quilted material is made by securing a cover material 5 to a shrinkable plastics film 6 along lines 7 defining a quilt like pattern and processing the assembly, e.g. by heat, to cause shrinkage of the film 6 to produce raised portions 8 of the cover material 5 in the areas defined by the lines 7. The film and the cover material may be united by stitching or welding. The exposed film surface of the quilted material may be secured to a rigid or semi-rigid support.
