Abstract

1304968 Pneumatic conveyers SPETSIAL. NOE KONSTRUKTORSKOE BJURO "TRANSNEFTAVTOMATIKA" 19 April 1971 [18 March 1970] 24008/71 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] A traction device 1 for a group of containers (not shown) in a pneumatic conveyer pipeline 2 comprises a housing 3 with trunnions 4 on its end walls. Mounted on each trunnion is a carriage 5 with wheels 6 and a disc 7 somewhat smaller than the pipeline 2 but substantially closing the cross-section to take the pressure of gas from a source not shown. Resilient seals 8 close the gap between the housing 3 and the pipeline 2. Each seal 8 comprises elastic threads 11 extending radially outwards from rings 10 on annular holders 9 attached to the housing 3. Annular gaskets are located between adjacent rings 10.
