Abstract

1304222 Mountings for built-in baths CORRECTA WERK GmbH 27 Aug 1970 [28 Aug 1969] 41187/70 Heading A4N A bath-tub support, to recieve a separate bathtub, in the form of a substantially rectangularshaped block in plan view comprises a moulded plastics recessed block 2 to house the bath tub 1, pipes 4, 3 for attachment to a waste fitment 6 and over flow fitment 5, and a connection pipe 23 all being moulded into the block 2. The block is preferably of a foamed plastics such as foamed polystyrol or foamed polyurethane. In order to allow a thickness of cladding to be applied on a longitudinal side and at the head 18 of the block there is provided in the block parallel to the longitudinal sides and the head 18 at a distance from the respective face of the block corresponding to the thickness of cladding to be applied, a netlike fabric (7) Fig. 2 (not shown), for the formation of a fracture surface. In a similar manner either of the two lower corners at the foot of the block may be removed to provide a mounting chamber 11 of (11'), by the provision of the net-like fabric 22.
