1303958 Separating roller for break spinners ELITEX-ZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITELSTVI 19 April 1971 [5 March 1970] 24124/71 Headings DID and D1N A separating roller 3 for a break spinning machine has holes 5 therethough which are either parallel to the roller axis or may be skewed relative thereto, either all skewed the same way are skewed alternatingly in more than one direction. The surface 4 of the roller S comprises, e.g. sawtooth wire, needles or rippled rings. Openings (8) and (9) Fig. 1 (not shown) are provided in the body (1) of the separating mechanism. The whole system is said to avoid the build up of fibres in the space alongside the separating roller 5 between it and the housing thereof.
