The roll 70 and spare roll 60 are mounted on fixed or rotatable posts 155, 135 on arms 150, 130 freely pivotable at 176, 172, the roll 70 resting on roller 120 on the door so that, as the tissue is used, the roll 70 gradually falls until, with all the tissue removed, a pin 154 on arm 150 rides off the lower end of a pawl 180 to an exhaust position as the core of roll 70 passes over roller 120 and the spare roll 60, held by arm pin 134 on the top of the pawl, is released to fall into dispensing position. The pawl pivoted at 181, Fig. 8, has in its dotted line position away from stop 187 a top surface 182 which retains pin 134 and spare roll 135 at the top, an upper curved surface 183 which is concentric with pivot 176 when moved to its full line position abutting stop 187, and a lower surface 185 which is concentric with the pivot when in its dotted line position against stop 188. Pin 134 and spare roll 135 are held uppermost when 154 presses on surface 185 during dispensing of lower roll 71, and when the lower roll is used and passes over roller 120 to move pin 154 off the pawl, the pawl shifts and pin 134 moves down over surfaces 183, 185 to position the spare roll at the dispensing opening. The door 310, 311', Fig.18, may be locked by lever 380, 381 engaging in the top of cylinder 375 secured to pivot 377. On unlocking at 390 and turning lever 391, lever 380 may be rotated by pressing in button 382 against leaf spring 387 to lift lever end 381 out of cylinder 375. An arm can then be rotated from the exhaust to the storage position to receive a fresh roll when the door is open.
