Abstract
130,308. Anderson, A. A. June 25, 1919. Fish-hooks; disgorgers.-For the purpose of stripping a fish or the like from a barbed hook, a bent flexible wire 11, normally resting in grooves 6, 7 in the bend of the hook, and threaded through a hole 8 in the bend and under a collar 9, has its end slidably mounted in a slot 12 in the barb 3. In use, a pull on the wire moves it from the position shown in Fig. 1 to that shown in Fig. 4, thereby stripping the fish &c. from the barb, the end of which is cleared and masked by a projection 14 on the wire.
