Abstract
1302776 Monoazo dyes SANDOZ Ltd 24 July 1970 [20 Aug 1969] 36018/70 Heading C4P The invention comprises monoazo dyes of formula wherein R is a halogen atom, preferably in the 4- or 5-position, R 1 is -OH or -NH 2 and the ring A may be further substituted. The dyes are prepared by azo coupling and are used to colour natural and synthetic polyamide fibres in yellow or greenish-yellow shades.
