Abstract

1302073 Lubricants UNILEVER-EMERY NV 15 June 1970 [16 June 1969] 28880/70 Heading C5F A metal working lubricant comprises a base oil and 5-20 wt. per cent (based on the oil) of the reaction product of a C 1 -C 3 alkanol with a C 32 -C 44 dimer acid, said product containing at least 25 wt. per cent of monoester dimerate. Base oils specified are mineral oils and soybean oil. The ester may be the monomethyl ester of dioleic acid.
