Abstract

1301501 Wallets WILLIAM W CLELAND Ltd 14 Dec 1971 [17 Sept 1970] 44342/70 Heading A4G [Also in Division B8] A packaging device comprises a base portion 2, edgewise extensions of the base portion forming article retaining means 8 and cover means 10, the article retaining means lying over the base portion and being secured thereto or to the cover means by at least one line of adhesion to form a pocket for articles, the retaining extension having a slit or opening 14 through which the articles e.g. tablets in sealed units may be introduced, the retaining extension having cut-outs or slots 20 so that articles carried by the device may be viewed through the extension. As shown, the openings 20 and the retaining extension 8 register with cutouts 18 in the base portion 2 and through which articles, e.g. tablets, may be pushed out of the device. In other arrangements, Figs. 2-4 (not shown) the base portion and retaining extension are provided with registering holes through which articles e.g. tablets may be pushed out of the device and are, Figs. 5, 6 (not shown) the device comprises a pair of base portions and article retaining extensions arranged side by side and foldable over each one and a cover portion (46) foldable over the folded extensions to form a double pack. Openings and cut-outs are provided as are the Fig.1 arrangement.
