Abstract

1300787 Electromagnetic actuators INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 10 Dec 1970 [22 Dec 1969] 58653/70 Heading H1P [Also in Division B6] A print hammer actuator assembly comprises a yoke 141 carrying an electromagnet winding 144 and pivotally supporting an armature 148, the yoke 141 itself being pivotally mounted at 138 on a support 139. A spring 135 urges the yoke 141 against a stop leg 139b. The armature 148 is coupled to a print hammer 160 by a connecting rod 182 which is urged against the armature by spring 184.
