Abstract

1300041 Face lift device L HEALE 2 Jan 1970 311/70 Heading A5R A device for providing a face lift comprises an annular anchor plate 10 and a plurality of tensioning strands 13 each for attachment at one end to the plate 10 by tying to eyelets 12 and for attachment at their other ends to plaits of hair B 1 , B 2 , B 3 and B, taken from the hair line. The ends (13a) of the strands 13 are formed with barbs (14), Fig. 7 not shown, to ensure firm securance in the plaits. The plate 10 is held in position by pulling a lock of hair 10 through the central hole 11. Suitable materials for the body 10 are cambric, sheet plastic or mesh. The strands 13 are preferably made of rubber or elasticized plastic.
