1396079 Board game W J PEARSON 3 July 1973 31620/73 Heading A6H Game apparatus comprises token money, a board having a path of spaces 2 around which players' pieces are moved according to a random number selection means (two dice), some spaces (twenty-two) being designated as belonging to different classes of craft (aircraft or ships) and some to international place names, cards corresponding to the craft classes each indicating the amount of money to be paid to the player holding the card by a player landing in the corresponding space, a first set of cards (twenty four "travel cards", including five of one sort and two of another) from which a player draws upon landing on a number of particulate spaces and giving directions to move to specified spaces, and two further sets of cards (seventeen "problem" cards and ninteen "charters and contracts" cards) specifying various monetary transactions to be executed by players drawing the cards, the playing path including spaces indicating from which of the two further sets of cards a player landing on one of these spaces is to draw. Miniature vessels may be purchased to make up a fleet. The money includes negotiable bank notes and fixed deposit notes.
