Abstract
1394233 Water tube boilers SVENSKA MASKINVERKEN AB 30 May 1972 [3 Sept 1971] 25345/72 Headings F4A and F4S A boiler has in a flue 7 a tube 13 for medium, such as water, to be heated, the tube having on its outside surface surface-enlarging rods 14 whose radial extent from the periphery of the tube is constant for a major part of the length of the tube but which uniformly decreases towards the end of the tube closest to the inlet to the flue from the combustion chamber 2. The lower and upper ends of the tube 13 communicate respectively with water space 3 and steam space 5.
