Abstract

1393219 Sets INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 17 April 1973 [4 May 1972] 18420/72 Heading H4J In a one-piece low-speaking/loud-speaking telephone set having a loudspeaker 1 and an earphone capsule 3 for use in the loud-speaking and low-speaking modes respectively, changeover between the two modes is effected by a switch 2 which also attenuates the output of a microphone 4 in the low-speaking mode. When the set is standing on a table switch 2 is depressed and the loud-speaker is operative. When the set is lifted the switch disconnects the loud-speaker and renders the capsule 3 operative The switch may be located at the handle 7.
