Abstract
1390651 Valves BARREL FRESH SERVICE AG 11 Sept 1972 [12 Jan 1972] 42032/72 Heading F2V In a pressure regulator for a beverage dispenser a valve member 4<SP>1</SP> is moved relative an O-ring valve seat 3 between a high pressure chamber H and a low pressure chamber N by a diaphragm 7 which forms a wall of the chamber N and is spring biased in a valve opening direction. A CO 2 capsule is attached at 15 and is pierced by a point to supply the high pressure to chamber H via choke disc 17. Valve member 4<SP>1</SP> is biased by spring 22 towards its seat and abuts the central apertured diaphragm holder 8, an apertured extension 11 of which is surrounded by a rubber sleeve 13 to form a relief valve. In modification the valve stem is attached to the extension 11 and the relief valve is replaced by a conventional one in a bore parallel to the valve member.
