Abstract

1388200 Transfer printing of textiles WINDLESTRAE TEXTILES AG 3 Sept 1973 [16 Nov 1972] 53013/72 Addition to 1284824 Heading D1B Textile fabrics e.g. wool cotton and silk are impregnated with a paste e.g. sulphamic acid, urea a thickening agent followed by winding with a printed paper supported by a tensioned flexible carrier around a roller to produce a pressure of up to 10 lbs per square inch between the textile fabric and the printed paper, unwinding the fabric from the roller after a period up to 36 hours followed by washing and drying the fabric. Preferably the impregnating paste is buffered at pH 4.5 and the fabric is maintained at 15‹ to 25‹C whilst on the roller.
