1387512 Hydrogen peroxide preparation MITSUBISHI GAS CHEMICAL CO Inc 12 Jan 1973 [12 Jan 1972] 40958/74 Divided out of 1387511 Heading C1A [Also in Division C2] H 2 O 2 is prepared by the anthraquinone process using a dialkyl anthraquinone of the formula wherein R is a t-alkyl group having 4-6 carbon atoms and R<SP>1</SP> or R<SP>11</SP> is a pri- or sec-alkyl group having 4-6 carbon atoms. The anthraquinone may be 2-t-butyl-n-butyl, 2-t-butyl-iso-butyl, 2-t-butyl-sec-butyl, 2-t-butyl-iso-sec-amyl, 2-tbutyl-n-hexyl, 2-t-amyl-n-amyl or 2-t-hexyliso-butyl anthraquinone.
