1386690 Expanded fly ash HOUILLERES DU BASSIN DU NORD ET DU PAS-DECALAIS 22 Sept 1972 [5 Oct 1971] 43984/72 Headings ClH and ClA Expanded nodules are obtained from fly ash by selecting at least two categories of the ash which have been separated from flue gases electrostatically in a series of chambers, mixing with lime adding water to form granules then heating, which results in hardening, decarbonation and expansion.
