1386468 Hand coating apparatus I GRANTHAM 21 Nov 1973 [25 Nov 1972] 54560/72 Heading B2L A hand coating device comprises a patterning roller 4 with a relief pattern 6 an intermediate transfer roller 26 and a second roller 28 with a grooved or suitably roughened surface dipping in paint in a reservoir 14. The roller 4 is adjustably mounted as is the handle 32. The relieved surfaces of the rollers may be produced by engraving or moulding of suitable metal, rubber or plastics materials. The roller 26 may be of aluminium.
