Abstract
1385446 Feeding sheets G BURGIN 2 Feb 1973 [4 Feb 1972] 5388/73 Heading B8R [Also in Divisions G4 and B6] The banknote dispenser of a cash dispensing system (see Divisions G4-G6) preferably comprises a suction extractor for feeding the notes from the bottom of a vertical stack. In the embodiment shown the suction head 86 is first applied to the bottom note of the stack through a window 851 in a receptacle 81, is moved laterally to form a loop 82<SP>1</SP>a and then moved downwardly to remove the note which is then passed through photodetector (87), (Figs. 6D, 6E, not shown) to detect any doubled notes and direct them to a retainer. In a second embodiment the notes are removed by a rotating suction head (86<SP>1</SP>) (Fig. 7, not shown).
