1383356 Multi-track tape players; electronic head switching STAAR SA 10 Oct 1972 [14 Oct 1971] 46666/72 Heading G5R Electronic track switching is achieved by gates G 1 , G 2 in circuit with heads E 1 , E 2 and switched by a flip-flop S in response to closure of a manual switch M or detection at D of a mark R on tape B. The gates G 1 , G 2 may incorporate transistors or diodes. A stereo arrangement is given, Fig. 3 (not shown).
