Abstract
1383022 Covers for electric couplings Gebr HAPPICH GmbH 11 May 1972 [12 May 1971] 22260/72 Heading H2E A socket fitment includes a housing 1 fixable to a wall and has a cover 2 which is slidingly displaceable, e.g. by tongue and groove 5 and 6 to expose or cover the socket openings. As described the housing is fitted into a recess in a wall of, e.g. a caravan so that cover 3 is flush with the wall and vertically slidable, the tongue and groove continuing round the top edge of the housing to assist water tightness. The top of the cover may have a sloping roof. Projections 8 on the cover co-operate with guide grooves 7 which incorporate limit stops to prevent removal of the cover. The projections 8 may frictionally engage ramps on the housing in the closed position of the cover.
