Abstract

1382875 Roof decking H H ROBERTSON CO 29 Jan 1973 [4 Feb 1972] 5396 72 Heading E1W Glass fibre reinforced gypsum roof deck units are of elongate form with a tongue 15 and a groove 14 formed respectively along opposite longitudinal edges for engagement with the corresponding tongue or groove of an adjacent unit. The outer wall 12a of the groove extends beyond the free longitudinal edge of the plate 11 of the unit and is formed as a shoulder with an outwardly projecting longitudinal flange 12 and lateral terminating flange 13 parallel to the plate 11. The units may be preformed with a surface layer 17 of bituminised felt and a foamed polyisocyanurate or polyurethane layer 16 by the cutting and chamfering of a double unit, Fig. 4 (not shown).
