Abstract

1382361 Thread delivery ducts in open-end spinning SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 21 June 1972 [21 June 1971] 29115/72 Heading DID In an open-end spinning machine the thread delivery duct 4 has an outer end insert 13 over which the thread 6 is deflected and which may be interchangeable or rotatable. This insert has at least one zone with a sharp deflection edge 13a, Fig. 2, and may be rotatable to bring an alternative smooth edge 13d into register with the thread. The insert position is held by a ratchet 14 engaging recesses 15. In the embodiment of Fig. 3 four zones are provided having differing numbers of sharp edges or a smooth edge, see also Figs. 3a to 3d (not shown). One zone c has thread engaging teeth 13e.
