1381857 Mounting tubes or cores on shafts WAVIN PLASTICS Ltd 29 March 1972 [5 May 1971] 13202/71 Heading F2U A plastics moulded (e.g. injection moulded nylon) end plug 1 for a tube or core (e.g. of polypropylene) on to which paper can be wound, comprises a tubular body part 2, an external flange 3, a radially external projection 7, 8 for snap engaging a recess 13, 14 in the tube, to retain the plug in the tube, an external key 4 for engaging a recess 12 in the tube, and an internal keyway 5 for engaging drive means to rotate the tube.
