Abstract

1380932 Electric selective signalling JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 31 Dec 1971 [12 Jan 1971] 1395/71 Heading G4H In a function generator pulses from source 10, in Fig. 2, a clock, are fed to a divider in the form of a back stepping counter 12 which on reaching zero is preset by the leading edge of the next clock pulse according to the state of counter 11 and supplies a pulse to advance counter 11 on the trailing edge of that pulse. In the feedback circuit from counter 11 to counter 12 the four most significant digits of the five digit binary parallel output of counter 11 are decoded at 16 to mark one of the sixteen input leads 17a-17b of a diode matrix 18 whose four-line parallel output presets the counter 12.
