1380690 Indicators for switches BENNIE LIFTS Ltd and S E KRUGER 27 July 1972 [4 June 1971] 35262/72 Heading H1N An illuminated push-button for an electric switch comprises a press member 36, Fig. 1, of glass or other heat resistant translucent or transparent material retained within a tube 33 slideable within a bezel guide surround 14. The arrangement provides for protection against vandalism as by a lighted cigarette since the legend 17 is protected by the glass while the flanged end 35 of plastic tube 33 is substantially inaccessible. The press member 36 and legend 17 are retained by projecting lips 38 on two opposite walls of the tube 33 which is rectangular is cross-section. A shield moulding 39 supports the assembly and has cut-away portions 41 to provide for the lips 39.
