Abstract
1378244 Reactive monoazo dyes BAYER AG 17 March 1972 [19 March 1971] 12626/72 Heading C4P New reactive monoazo dyes of formula wherein Q and P are H or SO 3 H but cannot have the same meaning simultaneously and D is the radical of an aromatic-carbocyclic or -heterocyclic diazo component which contains a fibrereactive group are prepared by azo coupling using appropriate components or by introducing a reactive group into an appropriate monoazo dye. The dyes are used to colour wool, silk, synthetic polyamide and polyurethane fibres, and in particular cellulose fibres, by the usual reactive dyeing processes, in yellow shades.
