Abstract

137,697. Carden, C. E. April 2, 1919. Windows and the like, cleaning.- A wind-screen or observation window f for motor-cars, tramcars, and other vehicles, and also for aircraft, is provided with means for supplying the weather side of the screen &c. with a constant film of water to keep it clear from rain or snow during bad weather. The water is drawn from a reservoir a by a pump b and discharged through a valve c to a distributor d. The water is collected by a gutter g and returned through a filter chamber a<1> to the reservoir.
