Abstract

1376127 Bath &c plugs F S WINKELMAN 12 June 1974 [25 Jan 1971] 3054/71 Heading A4N [Also in Division F2] A device for sealing the waste outlet of a basin, sink or bath and for the subsequent introduction of fluid under pressure into the waste pipe to clear a blockage, comprises a valve body 2 including a non-return valve 8, pivoted jaws 3 for engaging grill bars or holes in the waste outlet, a rubber or like member 1, and a nut 7 operable to urge the member 1 into sealing engagement with the face of the waste outlet. A metal washer 6 fits around the valve body 2.
