Abstract

1375931 Adjustable vehicle seats A W CHAPMAN Ltd 21 Feb 1973 [26 Feb 1972] 8944/72 Heading A4J In a vehicle seat mounted on two pairs of crossed-links 32, 33, vertical adjustment is effected by sliding of wedges 18, 19 along slides secured to the vehicle seat frame 10 and in guides 23 through which the pivot shaft 34 of the two pairs of links extends. Sliding movement is effected by rotation of a screw-threaded shaft which engages a nut on a member inter-connecting the wedges.
