Abstract

1375134 Cylinder locks CHICAGO LOCK CO 26 March 1973 [30 May 1972] 14483/73 Heading E2A The slider 30 of the fastener 20 of a money case 11 is held in its closed position behind a rim 132 by a keeper 62 controlled by a barrel lock 44. This barrel is rotatably located in an intermediate cylinder 42 by a spring- loaded ring 92, and has an eccentric 110 for withdrawing a latch bolt 84 to enable the intermediate cylinder and the barrel to be raised by spring 80 to a position in which a key 66 on the intermediate cylinder clears a slot 68 in the housing, so that the keeper, which is integral with the intermediate cylinder, can be turned clear of the slider as shown in Fig. 1.
