137,086. Rose, S. A. M. Dec. 20, 1918. Sleeve couplings.-Comprises means for ensuring good electric contact in a coupling for metallic conduits. The pipes d, e to be coupled are surrounded by a sleeve having an internal abutment c against which ductile packing rings h, i are compressed by nuts f, g. Electric conductivity is ensured by bonding pieces such as strips of copper springs j, k, which extend over a portion such as one-sixteenth of the circumference.
