Abstract

1369506 Holders M B SAMWAYS 14 Aug 1972 [6 Sept 1971] 41385/71 Heading B8F [Also in Divisions A6 and A3] A marker for marking the position of a golf ball comprises a disc 1 of magnetic material which can be located, for carrying purposes, in a holder 2 which includes a magnet 6 for holding the disc 1, a flange 7 extending part way around the periphery of the holder in order to prevent the disc I from accidently slipping or being knocked off the holder and means (e.g. a safety pin or clip 4 (Figs. 2 and 3 not shown)) for securing the holder, e.g. to a person's clothing. The disc 1 may be treated to prevent misting and suitably coloured. The flange 7 may be made decorative to resemble a brooch.
