Abstract

1369060 Impact pulverizers FRANCIS & JOHNS LANE Ltd 5 Nov 1971 51553/71 Heading B2A A beater mill comprises grid bars 1, 2 mounted in adjustable cradles 3, 4 which at their adjacent ends have a common fulcrum 6 whose axis is movable inwardly or outwardly relative to the path of the beaters on the rotor H. Movement of the fulcrum shaft 6 is effected by movement of a wedge block 21, Fig. 2, on a slide 22 by a threaded spindle 23. The wedge block is locked in position by screws 14. Thus both sets of grid bars are adjusted by a simple adjustment of the wedge block.
