Abstract

1367797 Tables R J SEARLE 25 Oct 1972 [22 Nov 1971] 54105/71 Heading A4H A table comprises a top 1 and leaves 2, 3 hinged thereto about respective axes X-X and Y-Y, the leaves 2, 3 having respective leg structures 4, 5 rigidly secured thereto approximately at right angles. The height of the table as shown in Fig. 1 can be altered by folding the leaves 2, 3 downwardly so that they engage the floor and support the top 1 as shown in Fig. 2. The parts are retained in the positions shown by retractable stops, toggle-acting stays or spring- loaded bolts.
