Abstract

1366880 Packages R J BEECHAM 31 Jan 1972 [9 Dec 1970] 58437/70 Heading B8C Shaped articles 16 of sheet material such as thermoplastics are cut out from a sheet with frangible bridging elements 26 connecting the article to a waste portion 17. Portions 17 are pierced and secured to each other so that the articles comprise a stack which may be suspended from pins for tear-off dispensing. Thermoplastics articles are pierced at portions 17 with a heated iron. the portions 17 are secured to a card 19 which is inserted in a carton as in Fig. 2. The articles may be made by winding a roll sheet material on to a drum, cutting through the wound layers to form the two portions, and piercing the portions 17, and withdrawing the roll from the drum.
