1366093 Chairs; furniture frames I BOLYOS 11 Aug 1971 [21 Aug 1970] 37754/71 Headings A4H and A4J A furniture frame, e.g. for chairs, beds, bed-settees, tables, comprises a pair of identical, opposed open, rectangular side portions 2, 2', and a pair of identical, opposed H-shaped front and rear portions 21', 21, each H-shaped frame portions 21', 21 being engaged with each of the side portions 2, 2' by inserting the U- section vertical limb 24 or 25 of the H-shaped portion within the opening defined by the side portion 2, 2' and moving the vertical limb 24 or 25 within the opening towards the front or rear post 7 or 8 or 7' or 8' of the side portion 2 or 2' until the limb fits around the post and snap latches 28 on the limb are received in recesses formed between ridges 9, 10 or 11, 12 on the post. Partitions 26 on the U-section horizontal limb 23 of the H-shaped portion 21' or 21 are received in recesses 14 traversing the ridges 9, 10 or 11, 12.
