Abstract

1365711 Plaster board compositions UNITED STATES GYPSUM CO 4 Nov 1971 51396/71 Heading C1H Calcined gypsum, water and pregenerated foam are mixed with a dispersion of finely ground land plaster and a sugar, e.g. sucrose, cast between paper cover sheets and allowed to set to form a paper covered plaster board. The dispersion has a Blaine fineness of 8,000 cm.<2>/ gm., the sugar forming 5% b.w. of the landplaster. 5-20 lbs. of the dispersion is present in 1 ton of calcined gypsum and acts as a delayed accelerator.
