Abstract

1365489 Thiapentyl acrylate copolymers EASTMAN KODAK CO 28 Oct 1971 [28 Oct 1970] 50171/71 Heading C3P [Also in Division G2] Copolymers of 3-thiapentyl acrylate with (a) ethyl acrylate, (b) ethyl acrylate and acrylic acid, and (c) n-butyl acrylate are prepared by copolymerizing the monomers in acetone or pdioxane using azobis-(2-methylpropionitrile) as initiator. The copolymers are useful as peptizers for silver salts (see Division G2).
