Abstract

1365384 Gas filter W HEFEL 8 Sept 1971 41808/71 Heading B1T A gas filter comprises an inward flow bag or hose 2 internally supported by at least one spring I to form folds 9 which increase the dust holding capacity thereof, and the hose 2 is secured to fixed upper ring 20, and lower closure 21, 22 is raised by rope 23 and cylinder 26 to compress spring 1 and shake the hose during cleaning. Figs. 5 to 8 (not shown) illustrate how flat hoses are supported by rows of circular or elongate section springs. (For Figure see next column)
