Abstract
1364776 Record cleaner METROSOUND MFG CO Ltd 5 Jan 1973 [29 March 1972] 14750/72 Heading G5R A record cleaning device comprises a tubular arm 8 pivotally mounted 2 on a pillar 4 disposed adjacent the record turntable and a brush member 22 resiliently mounted on an end of the tubular arm such that the longitudinal axis of the brush lies in a plane substantially at right angles to a radius of a record on the turntable and forms an angle of less than 90 degrees with the plane of the record downstream of its point of contact with the record. The arm is counterweighted and includes a reservoir 11 of cleaning fluid 18 which passes via a capillary channel 14 and aperture 17 to a block of polyurethane foam 16 and thence to the brush 22.
