1363987 Alarm systems ENGLISH NUMBERING MACHINES Ltd 7 March 1973 [10 March 1972] 11207/72 Heading G4N [Also in Division G1] A monitoring circuit for detecting the condition of an illuminable indicator (not shown) comprising a photosensitive element, e.g. resistor 38, adjacdnt the indicator, an electronic switching circuit and an audible alarm 46 is characterized in that the switching circuit includes a time delay 30 ... 36 to prevent its actuation until a predetermined time after a change in the condition of the indicator. Change in light intensity falling on resistor 38 renders FET 24 conductive after the delay period and actuates relay 40 to close contact 44 and sound alarm bell 46. A lamp 48 is also lit.
