Abstract
1363007 Shutter control circuit NIPPON KOGAKU KK 28 Feb 1972 [3 March 1971] 9048/72 Heading G2A A shutter control circuit has a timing capacitor 6 which is such that its leakage current decreases with time when a voltage is applied, the capacitor being connected to a battery 1 except during picture taking so that the leakage current is always low. A tantalum electrolytic capacitor is preferred. As shown, in use a switch 5 is closed to discharge capacitor 6 to a value determined by the light incident on a photo-conductor 2. On shutter release, a switch 7 is opened and a circuit A operates a shutter closing electromagnet (not shown) after a time determined by the charge on capacitor C.
