Abstract
1361694 Rotary positive-displacement pumps ALPEGGIO INVESTIMENTO S A 22 May 1972 [24 May 1971] 23919/72 Heading F1F In a pump for wet concrete-mixture displacement of the mixture from an inlet opening 2 through a chamber 3 around a fixed body 7 to a discharge opening 10 is effected by a rotor 9 oscillating through 180 degrees, the flow into and out of the chamber being controlled by a baffle 5 oscillating synchronously with the rotor. The mixture enters the opening 2 from a hopper 1. The rotor and baffle may be driven by hydraulic jacks, Fig. 3 (not shown). A second embodiment, Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown), differs largely in that baffle oscillates about an axis perpendicular to the oscillation axis of the rotor.
