1360750 Briquettes METALLGESELLSCHAFT AG and BERGWERKSVERBAND GmbH 20 Nov 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53466/72 Heading C5G Briquettes made by press moulding coal or mixtures of coal and coke at 400 to 540‹ C. are further treated by contacting them while at a temperature of 250-450‹ C. with an aqueous solution of adhesive. The hot briquettes are immersed in or sprayed with the adhesive solution which may be molasses or sulphite lyes.
