Abstract
1360118 Hanging cupboards on walls R HEINZE [trading as RICHARD HEINZE] 7 June 1972 26427/72 Heading A4U A cupboard, having a bracket 6 in an upper, inner corner, is mounted on a wall 4 by a hanger member 10 which is engageable with a hook 17, or with a profiled cleat 18, projecting from the wall 4 in a space 5 created between the back wall 1 of the cupboard and the wall 4 by the overhang of a cover plate 3. The broadened end 14 of the member 10 is down-turned and has an eye 16 and an open-ended slot 15 equal in width to the eye and separated therefrom by a web 14a, which is engaged by the hook 17, legs 19 at the sides of the slot 15 being engageable from above behind the cleat 18. A threaded bolt 9 rotatably mounted in upper and lower members 7, 8 of the bracket 6 is in engagement with threads 12 of a U-nut 11 embracing the member 10 so that rotation of the bolt raises or lowers the cupboard relatively to the member 10. The bolt 9 passes through an elongate slot 13 in the member 10 to guide the member for horizontal adjustment by a grub screw 22 rotatable in an offset part 23 of the nut and in engagement with a thread 21 in the down-turned end 20 of the member 10.
